Accessibility Statement

We want DataDeadline to be usable by as many people as possible and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as a target.

What we do

• Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a skip-to-content link.
• Every form field has a visible label; controls are keyboard operable with a

visible focus outline.

• Deadline urgency is conveyed by an icon and a text label as well as colour, so

colour is never the only signal.

• Text can be resized and the layout is responsive.

Known limitations

• Some areas may not yet fully meet AA.
• Icons are provided by a web font; if it fails to load, adjacent text still

describes each action.
