Accessibility Statement
DRAFT — this document has NOT been reviewed by a solicitor. It is a starting point only and must be professionally reviewed before use with real customers.
Version 2026-07-13
We want DataDeadline to be usable by as many people as possible and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as a target.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a skip-to-content link.
- Every form field has a visible label; controls are keyboard operable with a
visible focus outline.
- Deadline urgency is conveyed by an icon and a text label as well as colour, so
colour is never the only signal.
- Text can be resized and the layout is responsive.
Known limitations
- This is an MVP and some areas may not yet fully meet AA.
- Icons are provided by a web font; if it fails to load, adjacent text still
describes each action.
